About me
I first gained an interest in UX while attending a course about human-computer interaction while studying system development at Uppsala University. It opened my eyes to how thoughtful design can solve problems and help so many people, and suddenly I noticed clever interaction design everywhere around me! After some reflection, I decided to switch to a degree in interaction design, feeling that I had finally found my true calling!
With several years of work experience in the customer support industry for multiple companies, I’ve developed a strong ability to understand peoples’ diverse needs, which is a skill I now bring into UX design. I’ve seen things from both sides: as a customer I understand what users expect and value, and as a worker I’ve navigated numerous systems to support others efficiently. This dual perspective allows me to approach UX design with empathy for both the people who use a product and the people who maintain or operate it.
Beyond design I love traveling, photography, music, and making jewelry, all of which inspire my creative process!
At Stockholm University I have had the pleasure to learn how to make both physical and digital prototypes. I have worked with many tools and technologies through my studies. I am the most confident in Figma, Xcode & SwiftUI and Arduino, however I also have elementary knowledge of Jetpack Compose, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript and more, and I am always happy to learn something new!
I am currently also working with SSCO as a UX designer. Our goals are to improve the usability of the housing website Akademiskkvart.se in a project where I am using and improving on my design skills!
